FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I want to complete the CPC for transport managers course however I work full time, what options are available to me?

A. At RIC Training we appreciate that each individual has different requirements therefore we are able to offer this course as a night class spread over a number of weeks.

Q. I am an employer and would like to register an employee with the Young Driver Scheme. What do I need to do?

A. All you need to do is contact one of our staff members here at RIC Training and we will assist you with the registration process.

Q. I want to work on a building site, do I have to have a CSCS site safety card?

A. Yes. It is becoming increasingly difficult to be permitted onto a site without one.

Q. Where are the courses held?

A. The CSCS, CPC for Transport Managers and The ADR courses are held in the Stanfield Centre, Just off Commercial Road in Hendon, although the ADR course can be delivered at your place of business. Forklift, Rough terrain, Sideloader and Telehandler as well as LGV Training are delivered at our training facility in Hendon Street, again just off Commercial Road in Hendon.

Q. What are the start and finish times for courses?

A. Dependant on course, times to suit both parties.

Q. I am an employer. Can training be delivered on my premises?

A. This can be arranged subject to successful inspection of the site to ensure facilities are suitable.

Q. Do I need to complete to complete all modules of the ADR course.

A. No, each course is structured specifically for your job role and modules are selected as required.
